Famous Ghosts Part Two

The Drury Lane Ghost - Drury Lane theater is located in the Covent Gardens district in London. While many famous plays have been enacted by world-famous actors over many generations, this theater is equally known for being haunted. The Ghost of Drury Lane has been referred to on many occasions by patrons as the Man in Grey, appearing as a nobleman wielding a sword.

The Vanishing Hitchhiker - Stories about this ghost have been heard all over the world. Tourists driving in a local area see a young woman hitchhiking on the road and stop to pick her up. She is usually seen wearing a green shawl and directs the tourists to take her to a farmhouse several miles away. She always vanishes upon arriving at the destination, enticing the driver to knock on the door of the home. An elderly woman usually answers and when confronted about the girl, she replies, "Impossible. My daughter has been dead for over 20 years."
